What is the difference between junior and cadet wrestling

This year is different than past years in that there are no auto qualifiers. The state is allotted 6 spots per weight. We are going to offer 5 of these for open competition. The sixth spot will be reserved for unforseen concerns and petitions. That means the top 2 at the qualifier and the top 3 that are not already qualified at the state torunament will be eligible.
