What is the difference between bmw 550i and 535

The i is a terrific package that freaking flies. I enjoy mine. Appreciate 2. Russkey The amount of torque you get is addictive. The car launches like a train. It feels fast, although very heavy. Remember, not all N63 engines have issues. However, try to get the N63tu and you won't need to worry about known problems. I limit the 6 cylinder engines to the 3 series cars and below. No question that my ix is a blast to drive. Current stable: '12 i '08 X5 4.

I'd be coming from a tuned A3, which really hauls in high 3s, low 4s. At this point even an I6 will sound better, but I think I might miss that off the line torque if I go with the Enlisted Member. Currently looking at a i with these options. I wish it had the M-Package, but I will upgrade to the M front bumper anyway. This is a I had an E60 before my F10, and I loved it. When it was totaled not my fault I was looking for and F10 to replace it. I have many friends that also have 5 series, so I asked the ones that had the F10 - 3 of them had lemoned theirs, and another friend had a F01 Li.

All 4 said "forget the , get the ". I love 8 cyl, and the next car will hopefully be a G30 But the current V8 has too many issues for me to want to deal with. Instead I found a very well loaded for a great price and snagged it. Do I miss the V8 power? Somewhat, the low end torque of my was amazing. At the end f the day you can't really go wrong with either car, just make sure you get an extended warranty from a reputable company I got Route66 with it. Originally Posted by krautmeister.

The car is a sports saloon You can tune it to be a sports car, but that is a matter of your monetary commitment. If you need to stay in touch while you're on the road, the built-in ConnectedDrive system will help. It comes with the Mobile Office feature, which will read your text messages and emails over the car speakers. With the system's Bluetooth connection, you can make hands-free phone calls.

ConnectedDrive also helps you manage your music and stream audio files from your phone. With the included iDrive system, you can also import music directly onto the built-in hard drive. The i is equipped with features that keep you safe while you drive. The Head-Up display projects crucial information onto the windshield so that you can keep an eye on the road.

The rear-view camera makes it easy to avoid objects behind you, and a night vision system helps you spot objects ahead of you after the sun goes down. According to the BMW buyer's guide, the i is made with a V8 engine, so you can enjoy the feeling of power while you drive.

The larger engine comes with lower fuel economy numbers; the i gets an average of 23 mpg on the highway. Go to Page Please register to participate in our discussions with 2 million other members - it's free and quick!

I don't love the drive of the Audi or Mercedes as much. I don't need a boat of a car, I like sports cars, but I carpool kids, so I need a midsize 5 seater though a 2 seater coupe is really what makes me happy.

So give me your thoughts on the 5 series, , , and how they compare One of my best friends has a sedan - nice car. I enjoyed it as much as I can enjoy a sedan. Don't forget to drive the M5 while you are there. May be something you'd like. I am surprised you like both BMW and Lexus -since they are very different in feel.

I assume you compare the 5 series to the GS. Lexus is softer, more luxurious, and isolates you from the road. The BMW is almost the opposite. I do not think CR actually called the XF a clunker at all. The XF is a terrific car but will probably have some of the usual Jaguar issues. But I owned a S-type 4L for K miles and enjoyed every mile. It was not troublefree but it was hardly a clunker. I think the XF is distinctive and worth re-considering.
